Thousands of mourners lined the streets of South Africa this morning as Nelson Mandela's body was moved to lie in state in the capital - inside the building which once housed the apartheid government he fought for five decades.

South Africans formed a guard of honour for their former president this morning as his body was transported through Pretoria in a casket draped in the national flag, in a hearse surrounded by outriders, to lie in state for the first of three days.

This morning Mandela's grandson Mandla visited his open casket in the government's Union Buildings, followed by his second wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and third wife Graca Machel, as well as South Africa's current president Jacob Zuma.

His remains will be moved each day, for three days, between the Military Hospital in Pretoria to the Government's Union Buildings.

Timu hii inaendeshwa kwa ushirikiano wa pande mbili kati ya Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania (JWTZ) na Halmashauri ya Manispaa ya Kigoma Ujiji kwa niaba ya Wananchi wa Kigoma. Muelewe hapa maana wengi wanasema ni timu ya Jeshi asilimia 100% Nembo ya timu ni Sokwe Dume, Shujaa wa Hifadhi za Gombe na Mahale zilizopo mkoani Kigoma. Rangi ya kwanza ya jezi ya timu (first kit) ni hiyo hapo chini na kwenye nembo ya timu ni rangi za tunda la michikichi (mawese ). Hii kama njano ni mawese yaliyoganda na huo wekundu ni mawese ya moto. Ukishika tunda la Mse juu utaona wekundu na ukikata katikati utaona njano. Nyeupe ni ‘nazi’ ya Mse hizi ni alama za utajiri wa Kigoma Jezi nyingine ni blue inayowakilisha Ziwa Tanganyika na Jezi nyingine ni Nyeupe

Yanga ilianza vizuri ikiwa ugenini baada ya kuilaza mabao 2-0 timu ya Rivers United ya Nigeria, hivyo ilikuwa inasubiria mchezo wa marudiano uliofanyika uwanja wa kumbukumbu ya Benjamin Mkapa jijini Dar es Salaam. Kwa vyovyote Yanga walikuwa na uhakika wa kutinga nusu fainali kwani walihitaji sare yoyote ama ushindi wa aina yoyote. Hapo ndipo Afisa Habari wa Yanga, Ally Kamwe aliamua kupiga vijembe kwa watani zake Simba SC na kuipotosha jamii kwa kudai kwamba Yanga itakuwa timu ya kwanza Tanzania kuingia nusu fainali ya Afrika.
